In her role as Project Engineer for Hydroflux Epco, Anjana is still maintaining the same high level of communication with her team on a day to day basis using video calls for catch-ups.
“The daily support I receive from my colleagues whilst working from home energises me for the day ahead. Our manager, Luis has been brilliant and encourages us to share our news from home via “VC garden coffee meetings” which I find extremely helpful and maintains important social connections with my colleagues.”
Anjana recently provided outstanding contributions to several significant and exciting Hydroflux Epco projects including the supply of a HUBER Q-Press for a mine site in Iron Bridge, WA and HUBER Drum Screens for Boneo Water Recycling Plant.
Commuting across Sydney was accounting for a major part of Anjana’s day that restricted the frequency of her favourite F45 classes. “Working from home now allows me to log on and join my F45 team remotely get a functional full-body workout in a very efficient 45 mins every day!”
As a recent graduate, Anjana loves building her knowledge as well as connecting to others in her network. Prior to the recent restrictions, she was able to attend the Young Water Professionals conference hosted by Australian Water Association and International Water Association. She wrote an excellent summary of the conference that you can read here.
Anjana attended the well-received AWA Young Water Professional conference in QLD.
Anjana has also been encouraged to build on her expertise in water and wastewater technologies by extending her knowledge in the area of Aeration technologies which will enable her to design aeration systems in upcoming projects. If you have any technical questions on wastewater aeration systems, you can watch the educational videos on the link below or give her a call…. She loves challenges!
We have to finish this article on a personal level and one of Anjana’s (not so much a secret anymore) pleasures is watching Bollywood films on Netflix.
“There is a huge selection of Bollywood movies available and it is great escapism. My favourite film at the moment is “3 idiots” which I am kind of embarrassed to say I have already watched 5 times.”
