Hydroflux has been awarded a number of inlet works packages for the Bridgetown and Gnarabup WWTPs located south west of Perth.
HUBER Ro5 Packaged Plants were selected due to their performance and robustness in other nearby installations. The packaged plants consist of fine screens and grit removal which will protect the downstream biological processes from solids and rag accumulation. The units are delivered as pre-fabricated systems, doing away with complication civil structures and greatly reducing construction time and costs.
“Maintenance costs can be reduced with the installation of these HUBER Ro5 packaged inlet works. Being pre-fabricated systems they also simplify the design and build of the inlet works whilst maintaining key features such as bypass screening and even FOG removal.
All you need is a basic concrete pad and the units are bolted into position. These systems are ideal for treatment plants sized up to 15000 EP” says John Koumoukelis, Director of Hydroflux Pty Ltd
There are a number of sizes and configurations within the Ro5 family, to cater for capacities from 5 through to 200 L/s. The systems include a fine screen for solids removal and a grit removal system for the capture of sand particles. Screening apertures are available from 1 through to 6mm. All equipment is fabricated from stainless steel and the system operates automatically.
