The HUBER RoS3Q Inclined Sludge Press has taken the world market by storm, due to its significantly lower energy demand and high dewatering performance. This state of the art technology has been operating long term at a Sydney Water Inland STP, and has demonstrated its superiority over centrifuges and belt presses.

The HUBER RoS3Q Inclined Sludge Press has taken the world market by storm, due to its significantly lower energy demand and high dewatering performance. This state of the art technology has been operating long term at a Sydney Water Inland STP, and has demonstrated its superiority over centrifuges and belt presses.

The Inclined Sludge Press was operated on aerobically digested waste activated sludge with a feed solids concentration of 1.5 – 1.8%DS. The HUBER press was found to outperform the existing belt press system onsite by 3%DS with an output cake solids of 20 – 22%DS.

HUBER Inclined Sludge Press technology is a sludge dewatering process, designed to process activated sludge, digested, lagoon, and drinking water sludge. Volume reductions are generally between 85 – 87%.
